Example of Edited version for Movie

Prologue and Scene 1

Prologue
Two groups of students, one in black the other white
At City Arts and Tech High, Where we lay our scene
From recent grudges, rivalry exists,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From here come the fatal loins of these two enemies
A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life
Will their death end the others feud
The fearful passage of their gang’s rage
Which would cost their children’s lives
This is what you now will watch

Scene 1 {Gregory, Sampson, Abram, Friend, Principal, Benvolio, Tybalt, two attendants, onlookers}
[Courtyard, Sampson & Gregory of the Scorpions are chilling]

GREGORY
Man, all this fighting isn’t about us. I don’t even know where it comes from.

SAMPSON
Hit first think later, that’s what I say.

GREGORY
Ain’t no reason for all that.

SAMPSON
Hey, I’m going to get them before they get me.

[Abram & another Joker enter the courtyard and walk by Gregory and Sampson]

GREGORY
I don’t think so

[Abram and Grogory start pushing each other]

BENVOLIO
Break it up, you don’t want to do this!

TYBALT [enter, heads towards Benvolio]
What are you doing, pulling a blade on these two?
Back it up, let’s go! [pulls out his blade]

BENVOLIO
Bruh, all I’m doing is keeping the peace.

TYBALT
Blade out and talking peace, right. I hate the word,
As I hate hell and all Scorpions, and you... bruh!

[They begin to go at each other knives drawn]

PRINCE [enters with attendants and grabs knives away from them]
Punks and fools, enemies of education!
If you ever draw weapons on campus again,
You shall pay with your lives! That means dead!
